"The city looks so pretty!" Sky commented.

Stars shined brightly around New York City while Sky and Leo sat upon the rooftop. Everywhere they looked, the stars seemed to glow endlessly from every direction. It was amazing. The chill of the night, the silence of the streets, it was just.... breathtaking.

One thing for sure, Sky loved the nightime. Even when the clouds cover up the stars and the moon, she still loved it. Sometimes when the night is like this, Sky sneaks out and hopes to find a shooting star in the dark sky. And if she does sees one, she just close her eyes and makes a wish. Hoping for the best, her wish comes true. 

Earlier, Sky tried to sneak out from the lair but momentairly got caught by Leo. Instead of telling her that it was unsafe to be out in the streets at night, Leo insisted to join her. And that's how they ended up on the rooftop.

"Why do you like hanging out here?"

Sky glanced at Leo "What do you mean?"

Leo returned the stare " Well... what I mean is... why do like looking at the stars?"

"Um..." Sky paused.

Sky felt her skin being pierced by Leo's gaze, making her feel uncomftarble. Sky never told anyone why she hangs up here. Not even to Master Splinter. And she was afraid that Leo might laugh at her for wishing on shooting stars or believing in miracles too.

Realizing his mistake, Leo looked away " Sorry I didn't mean..."

"It's okay. You didn't do anything wrong." Sky interuppted. She looked up at the nightime sky; mesmerized by her thoughts.

"It's just.... the reason why I come here is.."

Once again, Sky felt her skin being pierced by Leo's gaze. But she ignored it.

"I come here for the shooting stars."

Sky looked at Leo. She expected to amusmant in his eyes or slightest twitch of mouth forming into a smile.

Instead of laughter, there was.... curiousity. Curiousity?

She countinued "Everyone now and then, when I'm up here, I always dreamed and wished of becoming something wonderful. Even though I'm a mutant, and I can't gain access to activities during the day, I always show my passion and I will never give up on my dreams."

Again, Leo's eyes sparked with curiousity and interest, but he stayed quite.

Sky can fell her face heating up, and she looked away. This was too much for her. Her face heating up like a frying pan, the starry-night scene, and worst of all, she was disscussing about her dreams wit Leo. Too much.

'Ugh! This reminds me of that sappy romance movie Heather showed me!' Sky thought to herself 'I hate that movie!'

"Your dream is not stupid."

Sky blankly stared back at Leo "What?"

"Your dream is not stupid." he repeated. "You believe that you can make it, and I admire that. But you don't have to rely on stars to make your dreams come true. You have to believe that you can do it here."

He pointed at his plastron " You have to believe it in your heart that you can do it."

Sky felt her face heat up again, but not worse than before. Without saying a word, Sky laid her head on Leo's shoulder. He didn't flinched by her touch neither did he moved away. He wrapped his arm around her for comfort. She relaxed. Sky was happy to be with Leo tonight. Just the two of them and nothing can change that.

Suddenly, something zipped by in the night sky.

A shooting star! Sky closed her eyes and made her wish. I wish that means a lot to her. 

With quick glance at the moon she whispered 'I wish this night will last forever.'
